FOUNDING FELLOWS

Shape the Center for Coaching Science from
Day 1.

Founding Fellows are a select group of coaching practitioners from across the globe who will help define how the Center for Coaching Science evolves - its direction, its culture, and its priorities. This is not a passive membership. Founding Fellows are contributors, and their work is what the community is built on.

The commitment is approximately 8–10 hours a month, structured to fit alongside an active coaching practice.

Our Relationship with
The Fulfillment Institute

CCS operates as a division of TFI but maintains methodology-agnostic positioning. While TFI offers fulfillment-focused coaching programs, CCS welcomes coaches from all training backgrounds.
• TFI provides ICF-accredited coach certification programs

• CCS operates independently with a broader, methodology-agnostic mandate

• All coaching backgrounds and certifications are welcome

WHAT FOUNDING FELLOWS CONTRIBUTE

What the commitment looks like in practice.

Founding Fellows are expected to contribute meaningfully across four areas over the course of Year 1 (May 2026 – April 2027).

01

One white paper

A solo or collaborative piece of 2,500–5,000 words on a coaching topic of your expertise, submitted to the Center for Coaching Science by September 2026.
We publish and amplify all Fellow contributions.
02

Two webinars

One delivered for the Center for Coaching Science member community, one public-facing. Each is 60–90 minutes and focused on a topic within your area of practice or research.

03

Two workshops

Half-day or full-day paid workshops facilitated on the Center for Coaching Science platform. Fellows keep 100%
of workshop fees.

04

Four research studies

Participation in four Center for Coaching Science-designed research studies annually — through surveys, interviews, or case studies — drawing on your expertise as a practitioner.

05

Active community engagement

Regular participation in regional discussion forums, Coaching Circles, and quarterly meetups. Fellows shape the culture of this community through their presence and perspective.

Fellows who wish to go further are welcome to advise on research topics and participate in peer review processes — but this is not a requirement of the Founding Fellow role.
WHAT FOUNDING FELLOWS RECEIVE

What the Center for Coaching Science offers in return.

01

Founding Fellow designation

Recognition as a Founding Fellow of the Center for Coaching Science — reflecting your role in building this community from the ground up.
02

A platform for your work

We publish what Fellows produce and actively create visibility for their expertise. Your work reaches an audience beyond your immediate network and inspires discussion across the profession.
03

Global peer network

Ongoing peer support from a curated global community of exceptional coaching practitioners — across geographies, sectors, and traditions.
04

Speaking and publishing opportunities

Priority consideration for speaking slots at Center for Coaching Science events and first consideration for flagship publications and thought leadership.

05

Continuity into Year 2

Fellows who meet their Year 1 contribution commitment automatically continue into Year 2 with their Founding Fellow status intact — no reapplication required.
06

No membership fee in Year 1

Founding Fellow membership is complimentary
in Year 1, in recognition of your contributions to
building the community during its inaugural year.

COMMON QUESTIONS

What people ask before expressing interest.

I'm not a researcher. Is that a problem?

Not at all. We are looking for coaching credibility, regional networks, and a genuine commitment to advancing the profession. The research programme has dedicated support and infrastructure — your role is to bring your expertise and participate as a practitioner. Leading research initiatives is welcome but not required.

Can I do this alongside my full-time coaching practice?

Yes — that is the expectation. The commitment is structured around quarterly engagement rhythms rather than weekly demands. Many of the activities involved — peer discussions, research participation, knowledge sharing — also benefit your practice directly.

Will this affect my existing certifications or professional memberships?

No. The Center for Coaching Science complements your existing professional affiliations. Most Fellows hold multiple credentials and memberships, and we encourage you to maintain them. We are an additional community, not a replacement for anything you are already part of.

How will meetings and events work across time zones?

We are designing for global participation. Key sessions will be offered at multiple times where possible, and recordings will be available for asynchronous viewing. Regional meetups are scheduled within your own time zone. Some live participation is expected, but we are realistic about what global collaboration requires.

What if I need to step back temporarily?

We understand that circumstances change. If you need to adjust your involvement, we will work with you to find a sustainable level of participation. That said, we are selecting people we believe can sustain this commitment — honest self-assessment at the outset matters.

What happens after Year 1?

There is no obligation beyond the inaugural year. After Year 1, you can continue as a paid member at preferred Founding Fellow rates, or step away with your lifetime Founding Fellow designation intact.

What is the selection timeline?

Selection notifications go out on April 17, 2026, with the official launch on April 30, 2026. These dates are tentative.

If this resonates, we'd like to
hear from you.

Expressing interest is not an application — it is the start of a conversation.
